About ScotMUN
After the University of Edinburgh Model United Nations Society had the honour of hosting WorldMUN in 2005, the idea for ScotMUN was formed. The conference, which was Scotland's first, was officially founded in 2007 and jointly hosted with the University of St. Andrews, until 2010 when Edinburgh University Model United Nations Society (EdMUN) became the sole host. Created by students for students, ScotMUN has always been committed to providing delegates with quality debates in small committees and to hosting great social events in Scotland’s beautiful capital, such as our popular ceilidh.
ScotMUN takes place on the Old College and George Square campuses of the University of Edinburgh, right in the centre of Scotland’s capital. We hope to see you there!
